Frequently asked questions
Will the AI write my essay?
No. Not a sentence, not a phrase, not an example line. The Essay Workshop has no generate, rewrite, or improve button anywhere in it. The AI asks questions, surfaces themes, and gives structural feedback — you write every word.
Is this against the rules of the schools I'm applying to?
Coaching is not prohibited — hired counselors do it every day at 30 to 80 times the price. What is prohibited is submitting work that isn't yours. That's exactly the line this product is built around, which is why we removed the ability to generate text at all.
What if a school isn't in your database?
Add it manually. The + Add a School button is always visible, and a custom school gets the same deadline tracking and essay slots as any other.
Is this a subscription?
No. Every tier is a single one-time payment, and access lasts one year from purchase — long enough for a full application cycle, with no auto-renew and no surprise second charge.
Can I upgrade later?
Yes. Pay the difference and the higher-tier modules unlock immediately.
